Because this is a fansite, not a place where horrible rude people can come along and conduct their sordid little affairs :P

I just don't think it's required. Plenty other places you can chat about over 18's topics.

If that were the case then Chit Chat and Playground should be removed :P

Mark wants this site to be a feel-free-to-say-anything-you-want type thing which is great because I'm all for that, but some of the content can be a bit X rated which isn't suitable for the really young guns that come around the site.

It's not that major an issue what is said. There is plenty of innuendo, and sometimes complete bluntness on sexual issues, but to be honest, how many kids between say...... 14-18 don't know what we are taking about or are so innocent as not to know?

And how many kids younger than that actually are members? Very few I would imagine. Hence it's not really a problem, so there's no solution required.
