Mark, why do I have to tick a captcha box every time I go on this website now? Started a week or two ago, quite irritating.

We've had that Cloudflare detection system for years to engage potential hackers and other threats. It's not even on the highest setting.

Can you do a virus and malware scan of your computer as that might be triggering it? In the meantime, I've whitelisted your IP.

Will do, and thanks.

Having to temporarily change email providers. If you use email notifications then you may need to whitelist [email protected]

Whitelist being opposite of blacklist, I presume?  How would I do that?

Usually easiest way is to find the email in your Spam and there will be something in the menu to whitelist it.

What email service do you use?

I use Googlemail Mark.  I do know how to whitelist websites in chrome, so is this done the same way?

Quickest way is to find an email you have from MW and then in the top right corner of that email you see a little down arrow for the menu. Click 'Add MurraysWorld to Contacts list'.

Yahoo - there are no end of options to block emails but no reference to whitelisting.

Strange, Yahoo doesn't seem to have a whitelist feature. If the email is already in the spam folder you can just load it up and click "Not Spam".

Otherwise, you'll need to do:

  • Open your mailbox and click on "Mail Options" (upper right hand corner).
  • Select "Filters" under the Management column.
  • Click the "Add" button on the Filters page.
  • In the "From header:" row, make the drop down "contains" and put the mailer's from address [email protected]  in the box.
  • At the bottom of the page Click the "Choose Folder" pull down menu and select "Inbox".
  • Click the "Add Filter" button.

Phew! OK I'll give it a whirl and let you know.

PS Not quite as you described but close enough to hopefully muddle through.
