This doesn't make sense... it doesn't work on the test account I created which is Top Seed like you Amy.
Amy, are you able to link a thread that you do not own to the calendar?

Nope actually. I could only link to the calender with topics created by me. I get the same error message. Thats not how I did the calender things yesterday though, I went through the calender first then made the post.

Just a quick note, when putting the [ h ] tags around the match alerts, you need to do it using the edit button, not using quick edit otherwise it won't let you.

If I ever reach 5000 posts can I decline trusted status?
It just seems to be too much like being an arse kisser to me and would like to stay on the outside of the establishment

That's not the point, It should be offered not thrust upon you.
I have never been trusted with anything in my life and do not want to take on this added responsibility now.
Oh nearly forgot Arse Kisser

Unless fast tracked, you are only automatically given extra permissions when you reach that post count, it's not a manual procedure we intentionally give on an individual basis.
I did create a membergroup that was intended for people like fuzzy if they were to reach Trusted Status. Al, If you believe you cannot be trusted or that the security of your account may be jeapordised, then I will see if I can apply this to your account. Otherwise, your request is denied.

I'll just have to behave in a manner that proves beyond doubt that I can not be trusted
It would be much better in the exclusive non-trusted members group, I would wear it proudly like a badge of honour
Oh can I be fast tracker to non-trusted members group status please Mark

Apparently the fact I made it so non-moderators were able to this calendar function may have actually been a bug in SMF which was then later fixed

Have you had any further thought about possibly indicating somehow that someone is of Trusted Status?
Perhaps say it below the username or make the username a different colour or something like that.

I'm not sure it's a good idea because it would be just another thing added below our usernames and also I think it would be a manual task rather than automatic thing to add it to the usernames.
Only other thing is have Top Seed and the rest of the ranks coloured green or something but again, i think it's all unnecessary.
