Ridiculous decision. Certainly no problems with Yamor getting in given that he helps out anyway. But it's at 5,000 posts for a reason. Sarah has a highly valid point given that she has been a member for a long long time, longer than me I think as well....... Clydey being made into trusted status is frankly ridiculous. No offence to Clydey at all, but there is no way that meets with your own guidelines set in place for managing this site. Very very poor.

You either have to lower the number of posts it activates at, or pick and choose more fairly in future.

Neil, after giving this some thought, I agree this needs to change. It's not right that someone like netcord, who is incredibly trust worthy, does not have this status by now.

Therefore, in an attempt to cater for the other deserving members, I have lowered the requirement to 'Seed' instead of 'Top Seed'

EDIT: Reverted back to Top Seed.

Can I just point out that giving Yamor and Clydey this status was a fair decision but what is technically unfair is there are other members who also should have it.

I don't think you did for Clydey. I'm lost as to his contributions to the site to date in terms of updates etc i.e. Like Allan and Yamor did before they were fast tracked.

I accept I could be wrong but I felt with Clydey that he is the type of person who is more likely to contribute over many of the others who would be given this status. That's just an assumption based on my opinion of him so I might turn out wrong and if I do, who cares?

Also I found it quite appealing that he apparently doesn't sleep lol

You're so far out of line, Neil, it's not even funny.  The fact that you don't like me has no bearing on whether I'm trustworthy.

To answer your point, I wasn't even aware you could contribute unless you had certain privileges.  I'm happy to contribute to this site and I'm not about to bring the site to a grinding halt just because I can do a few news updates, am I?  Your attitude stinks.  Your personal opinion of me is no indication of how trustworthy I am, so get that in your head.

I did a match alert edit when the draw came out.  Is that ok or does it have to be a breaking news edit?

It looks ok, but I want to be sure that I got the format correct.

Edit:  What will I do about the doubles draw?  I assume one of you will sort that when you're up.  If I add the doubles draw to the alert, will it look cluttered?
