Nothing I can do about that. It's up to Hotmail to update their records. Gmail did theirs very quickly.
Is there no a way for you to tell it that it's not junk like I can do in Gmail?

I've just optimised the database hence the few minutes of downtime just then. Hopefully that will help with the errors.

Are you saying that it only happens when opening links from Gmail?
Can you try and note down the exact time when it happens again? Perhaps I can find something in the logs.
I was only doing it from Gmail, so I don't know. Maybe you optimising the database will have sorted it out though, if not I'll get back to you.

Angie - if you haven't already found it, Hotmail does have 'Not junk' option. If you go down to 'Junk' and open that box you'll see it after 'New' and 'Delete'. You can then use the 'Move to' option to move the message(s) to the inbox.

Aileen... innocent question, why do you prefer to delete your posts rather than just edit them?
I'm just testing the email notifications and noticed I got the same one twice.

This sounds totally stupid - but I don't really know why I started doing it. Maybe just some sort of 'senile' eccentricity I guess. Anyway a couple of members have also pointed it out, so I'll make an effort to stop the habit.

Quite a few members don't seem to spot the quick edit function... the little notepad icon inside your post to the right. Once you start using that, it's so quick

Thanks. I'd no idea what that was for.

Hmm. I really should think of changing the icon so it's more prominent because it is a great way to edit.

I'm sure that would be very helpful. Anyway I'm noticing a few newbies who don't seem to know about the more obvious Edit function and so are double-posting.

Yes, massively so - it doesn't require an additional page load.

Apologies if that's me - I love technology, it just doesn't always like me!
