Sorry ,being self taught I cannot do screenshots or copy and paste. I'll get the boy next door to teach me at halfterm I have however recently had to renew my  AVG safety thingy This does not have a firewall but Windows 7 does  Perhaps it's that.
  Thankyou for your interest I do appreciate it and if this continues I'll get the chap who services my computer to have a look at it.

It seems it's a security feature in Internet Explorer that is clearly not working very well.

I would strongly urge you to change to a respected web browser like Google Chrome.

Mark the graphics on my banner are still off today, it's fragmented and the medal and trophy are basically a black rectangle?

The source image is fine so something is playing up on your end. Perhaps the download of the image didn't complete for some reason. So try clearing your browser's cache.

When I tried to post it wouldn't connect. No error page, I didn't wait long enough to see what came up.. but I'd say it tried for approx 20 secs before I gave up.

So I copied my post, opened another tab and pasted, then no probs.

This has happened several times.
Also notice a photo I posted in "Andy at Australian Open 2013' thread has disappeared. I don't care about that at all, just bringing it to your attention in case it's relevant.

I haven't run the optimisation task for the database in quite a long time so I've done that... maybe it will help.

Tis me again.
MW is being really slow on and off. Same probs with posting as earlier, and even sluggish just navigating through the forum.
I'm not having trouble with any other sites.
Traffic should be quiet right now too.
Is it just me?

For the last few days MW has been really slow between 5 am and 6 am.  In fact there's a set pattern to it.  5 am more or less on the dot it starts to go very slow, then at 6 am normal speed is resumed.  And by slow I'm talking about constant delays of 20-30 secs.  It applies to posting as well as navigating round the site, and sometimes even accessing it.  I'm using Chrome, by the way.

I only mention it because it was causing problems during Andy's match with Berankis for other members as well, certainly for those in Germany and Canada as well as the UK.
