After thorough investigation with the engineer, it does appear there is severe corruption in the database software.
So I will work on getting moved back to the stable snapshot before all this occurred later today when I wake up.

I've now reverted back to the stable snapshot and restored databases. There is now no corruption in the database software. Everything is up-to-date and should be working correctly. You may want to clear your cookies though as I can't be sure what will happen if you're using a cookie made by the previous server state. I fully expect the logout issue to be gone now... look forward to your confirmation  |

It could be related because this server state has everything running perfectly where as before there was quite a bit of mess.

My computer is set to keep me logged in but several times over past few days I've found when I clicked on my favourites bar to open the forum I've not been logged in and have had to do so again, including a few minutes ago.  |

Please can you clear your cookies and log back in? It's highly unlikely the server issue remains now as the main software has been reverted back to an early state before the 12th of Feb which was when people started having problems.

That's good to know. I'm also testing on five browsers and not one has logged out yet. This issue still existing would make absolutely no sense  |
