Where, for example, is Ellyb? I miss her! I think people are just posting less. It's a lot quieter around here, especially in the evenings when it used to be a bit more lively.

Many others have disappeared too. HOL, Hollie, Annie (doesn't post much any more either), Lola, Kwevus, ...

I don't think they all went away 'cos their lives changed.

Well, we used to be a small gang, all the same people talked in every topic en there were always funny misunderstandings etc. But now, with all the new and different members, it's too busy for that. MW is mostly filled with serious arguments instead of what used to be.
I think... It's just one of the reasons why I don't like it as much as back then, can't speak for them.

I don't agree. A lot of the old members have moved on, if we didn't have any new members the board would be utterly dead.

I doubt that very much. People get on with life, they move to uni, they have more interesting pulls on their time...

Possibly. Though the ones I named above were already working or at uni, so a drastic change would be needed.

I'm quite close with one of them who left and she didn't just because she had better things to do.

But if you notice - Lola and Kwevus have both gone to uni, Rochelle hasn't posted as much since she's been at uni etc. I don't post as much when I'm busy at uni. For many people real life concerns will always take precedence over a forum.

Rochelle chose AM.com over MW + I believe Lola and Kwevus had other reasons to leave, I won't name them.

You're at uni as well and you're on here often. I think many people use their computer to do tasks and get on here whilst to relax a bit.
