I've noticed a few problems about this - avatars aren't showing up sometimes.
It will on some pages. I can see your Andy Roddick one now.

Can you try and put the photo link into your profile again? I think you need to wait for Mark on this one. My avatar has been showing up as a X on some pages... 50% of the time it's like that but then sometimes it's fine.  |

murray_mad: A small X is showing for you because the image doesn't exist in the location that you set anymore. A few things were changed on the MW gallery so you'll need to search for that thumbnail again and use the new address.
If other people are getting this, always right click the red X and then Properties, copy and paste the URL in your browser and see if it loads up the image. If it doesn't then that's a problem with the source of the image and not the message board.
I'm not saying there isn't a problem here about avatars but that certainly is the reason for your issue murray_mad.

Julia, are you saying that within a few minutes you regularly notice that on one page your avatar will load and on another it won't?
Sometimes the place hosting your image may not be online for a moment and that would explain it sometimes not showing but if the inconsistencies are within a few minutes of each other then that may suggest a problem on here.

Well sometimes the page loads fine but lately (past 3/4 days) some people's avatars haven't been loading at all (i.e. nothing at all - not even a X mark). Sometimes there is a X mark. It's really inconsistent though. For example sometimes on a page my avatar is a X and maybe one more persons' and then on the next page my avatar will come up as normal and someone elses will be missing completley or with an X. |
