This poster is here all the time, day and night, but I've never seen a post from him or her. It's about time they introduced themselves!!

Yeah, most forums they won't show up because most search engines don't explore these sort of forums. But I installed a mod that would allow the robots to explore the forum and also for it to show up as a user.

I dont know, that Googlebot gets everywhere. I belong to a completely private forum (you cant get the URL anywhere...it's OK, nothing illegal, just a few of us who have become really good friends, pouring out our innermost thoughts) and still we get visited by Mr Googlebot!
He's ubiquitous. 8)

Certainly is... he gets into our hidden staff forum on another board where I'm a moderator... what I think strange is where you see Google using personal messenger and sending emails.

JohnW, just set up a robots.txt in the directory where the private forum is so it blocks Google from looking.
User-agent: *
Disallow: /admin/
etc.
