Well, if it is what I think it is then I can't fault her for wanting to partner Zimonjic in the mixed, especially with Jamie being currently ranked so low. I also get the feeling that Jamie won even be travelling over to New York anyway.
More positive news now Jamie and the other Jamie have reached the semis of an Italian Challenger by beating the 1st seeds 6-1 6-4 in the quarter-finals!!

I know things don't look too good but he still should be able to play with her despite his ranking because she's world number 1 no? And in fairness, when it came to the mixed, they didn't too badly considering they made the semis, they actually knocked out Zimonjic in the second round of Wimbledon
Can I ask where you found out that result? I've been looking all day..!

Maybe I've been thinking about this for too long, but do you think it could mean that he's planning to partener JJ instead? A long shot but I won't ever stop hoping for a reunite!
Or would that not work cuz of rankings and what-not
Also she's probably planning to focus on singles as per usual, not that theres anything wrong with that, I would love her to do well! sorry I'm rambling a little

After having won a high profile tournament (Master Series) recently, Jelena will probably want to focus on her singles career to win the USO so I doubt she will partner Jamie in the doubles. I think she enjoys playing with him though and probably will partner him if not for her singles commitments.

The Jamie's are
into the final
after their most convincing win for months. Probably even years.
