Apparently there's a bit of tension between these two.  Liezel Huber is quoted in The Sunday Mail as saying that Jankovic said to her, "Jamie asked me first, so you're a second pick".

She also expressed disappointment that Jelena may want to team up with Jamie for the US Open.  I love that these girls are fighting over Jamie.  The world number 2 in singles and the world number 1 in doubles lol

Mieow. Jelena's had an injury hit season, but after throwing the toys out the pram when she got put on Court 18 has put me right off her. What a biatch..... Stick with Liezl, Jamie!

As pointed out elsewhere would Nadal EVER be put on Court 18? I think not. She was the 2nd seed.

Yes I know this,  but it's not a show court was my point. Nadal would still never be put outside 1 and centre was my point.

Not my point at all. Top 2 seeds should always be on the show courts. If Sampras was at the time, then I also think he should not have been on Court 2.

That's your opinion.  They put the main matches on the main courts, the matches that draw the most interest.  Seeding doesn't enter into it.
