AceHotlist rigged? Apparently not.

Quote

Users from MurraysWorld have recently noticed that when voting for Andy Murray as no1 for the ACE Hotlist 2006, the vote would appear to get erased. This brought about a lot of suspicion as Andy Murray was the only affected poll option in the list of players.

Ace Tennis Magazine have since told MurraysWorld that there was a "programming error" and our votes were actually recorded.

Nigel Billen, editor of Ace Magazine, said:
Thank you for pointing this out... Which was a little alarming! We would never rig the vote and certainly not against Andy!

In regards to the error, Ace said:
A programming error has meant that Murray does not appear in the confirmation screen for the voters' top 10s that you refer to. We have informed our web team and they are working to resolve the glitch.

Importantly, we can assure you that all votes for Murray have been recorded. It is simply a visual problem.

Thank you, Mark for contacting them...
Do you believe them? That the votes are recorded?

Seemed a nice and genuine email. If Andy wins, I'll believe them for sure Wink
