UPDATE: Andy Murray will take on Paradorn Srichaphan this morning second on Stadium court after Federer vs Nieminen which starts at 0830 BST - discuss here.

"Murray and Federer march into Thailand semis" is a headline that will warm the heart of any Murray fan and is a tantalising glimpse of a final that will likely transpire if Murray is able to overcome Srichaphan tomorrow morning.

After the disappointment of not seeing a Murray Vs Federer singles match in the Davis Cup last week, this is an intriguing prospect and, whatever the outcome, can only be a boost for Murray's experience and confidence.

If Andy Murray can hold his own against the best tennis player in the world (some would say the best ever), then he will have no need to fear any opponent.
