Just the odd point cost them the doubles - Andy obviously gutted just now but when he's had time to think about it I'm sure he'll see it as a great day!

In September 2008, Andy Murray reached the US Open final. I popped out and bought a cigar for when he won the final.

Since then, it's been on ice in the top drawer in my bedside cabinet awaiting a first grand slam win. Does this count?

I think it is worth more Nigel.  Even the GOAT with all his titles and records doesn't have this one !

Just got in from a bit of hill walking as Andy was starting his game so believe it or not, I was drinking very cold water throughout Andys match but I'm now  cups of tea..... very rock 'n' roll eh!
