Murray beats Falla
« on: March 23, 2012, 04:38 PM »
Andy Murray advanced to the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open today with a routine 6-2, 6-3 victory over Alejandro Falla.
Under normal circumstances Murray would have been expected to make quick work of the Colombian, ranked 71 in the world. After last weeks shocking defeat to Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, many pundits wondered if the Scot was about to succombe to another bout of post Australian Open malaise.
Thankfully this was not the case - not that many Murray fans were able to see the evidence for themselves. For reasons known only to the tournament organizers and TV networks, live coverage of the event only begins tomorrow.

Love that puntastic title!
:SARCASM:
Edit - though on second thoughts, perhaps it's in keeping with the mystery nature of this match. All we know is that Murray did indeed beat Falla. He may have done it wearing a gimp suit for all we know, but the fact remains - Murray beat Falla.

Yep, even little Rodgy is upset and embarassed by robbie's ongoing assault on taste.

Delighted to see when I got home that Andy had made quick work of beating Falla. Now onwards and upwards from here on.
