We're  are you  ak400 , as I said yesterday Djoko might not be in the final!!!! You were sure he would be.
In fairness AK did say after the match that Andy deserved to win.  Also he wasn't the only person who said they thought Andy would lose, and I was one of them.  Humble pie tasting very nice though!

My only concern was Andy's inability to close the match out on his serve - not something he wants to be doing against top players - but he did well to put that behind him immediately.  Mental attitude obviously improving but still a little way to go.

What do I make of it?  I have even greater respect for Andy for taking that on the chin - putting it behind him and breaking Nole again to win - that's what I make of it!!!!
Well said Alis.  I agree and Aileen yes let's accentuate the positive rather than dwell on the negative.  Who knows this experience might make it easier for Andy to serve out a rather more important match in the future. yay yay

Congratulations, Muzz, and best of luck for the final. I'm thrilled for him. No post-AO slump which is a relief.

Well said, these are the changes Andy is making to get to where he wants to be, we should be applauding him, his tennis has never been in question, just his mental fortitude and it very much looks like he is turning that around.  Well done Andy Murray, it really is just a matter of when not if....

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Great performance from Andy, however Djokovic did make a number of unforced errors,

They weren't unforced - watch the match again and note how deeply Andy was hitting. Most of his groundshots were to within six inches of the baseline. I've never seen anyone hit so deep, so consistently.

yay I think we can safely say Andy isn't going through a post AO slump this year!  cmon yeah

Hoping there'll be some hefty highlights of this later, as I came home for lunch toward the end of the first set to find that my better half must've pressed a remote button by accident before she went out and I'd recorded the on demand menu instead of the start of the match!   doh

Managed to take a (slightly extended) lunch hour to watch him finish the job anyway. The serve percentage and the way Andy managed to keep his head when he lost a bit of feel in the middle of the set and got a bit tight serving it out gives me great hope for the rest of the year.

What do you make of that choke when serving for it? Horrible mental deficiency in that key moment, thankfully he broke again to seal it anyway.

These things happen, perhaps not a choke, more mental slip, he let his focus go a little, but what really impressed me was how quickly he reasserted himself mentally and put the slip behind him. I believe the Andy of old would more than likely have lost that set, giving the mental edge back to his opponent, but in this instance Andy refocused himself quickly and as a result got the job done on Novak, who i believe fears Andy a little, you only have to look at who was the aggressor in the match. Andy's game forces Novak to play high risk tennis, something he is not really comfortable with, (hence the high error count). When he plays Nadal or Federer he knows exactly what he is going to get, while with Andy he is somewhat uncertain.

Looks like i was wrong guys, Federer sneaks the second set from Del Boy and thus the match, so we have a Federer V. Murray final  go go go Andy, we all know you can do it, i think the difference between Andy post 2011 AO and the Andy Post 2012 AO is simply belief, belief in himself and belief in his own game.

I also used the expression "choked", but you are correct PT. He's nervous guy at times but dont you think he will master his nerves one day soon?

Well that's fine, but it does concern me that he crumbled while serving for it, having been brilliant up to that point. I hope Murray himself won't ignore it, because there's always room for improvement. Sorry to break ranks there.

Well done Andy you played great. What a difference between yours and Nole 's match which was brilliant fast moving and exciting. I watched Mr Smug and Delpo and it was a drag no real excitement I was glad when it finished. I hope you have a brilliant match tomorrow, remember you are better than Mr Smug and you can beat him. Good luck for tomorrow I am sure all at MW will be cheering you on all the best.
