No, i just forgot my passwords for a long time. I'm his fan since 2010, he's been doing so well in Shanghai Masters.

Need some help.  Because of work commitments I have had to watch all of andys matches recorded. I have the opportunity to watch live on Friday and Sunday (if he gets there). The thing is when it comes to andys matches I get very superstitious. Do I watch live or stick with recordings. ???

Ooh Tessie you just have to watch live while you have the chance! I have work on Friday morning so will have to record but would give my eye teeth not to be going to work Frown

Looking at the Titles of Andy's last matches...we've moved from Strolls to Canters, so hopefully the next one will be Gallops!

Going by the new Mission statement ( Prepare, Attack, Destroy)  I'm hoping for nothing less than a cavalry charge!

I bet this won't be his best performance this year, here in Australia.

Read the end of the match report - nice one Boogers!

I just got home and  tv  the 2nd and 3rd sets, which I am enjoying.  Little tongue man

Chardy must have had a really bad day today, otherwise gawd knows how he beat Del potro? I like his mega-forehand and drive volley, but he was very haemorrhaging UFE in the 2nd set. Nerves account for his poor performance, poss?

Hi All,

I woke up at 6 this morning (slept really well, which was weird when I knew Andy was playing  yay) and saw the second and third sets. As predicted by some of us, Andy was playing some lovely stuff. You can never tell I suppose, but does anyone else share my feeling that his form is building nicely? He looked good out there today in what I saw. My heart was in my mouth a bit when he was broken serving for the match the first time, but no bother. I love how he regroups now and gets on with it. I'm sure that's made as much difference to him now as any improvement on any shot.

I heard about the first set dip, I didn't see it. I think it's all right, I really do. I mean, I'd prefer him not to dip, but I think how he reacts if he does is more important. From what I saw it looked like he regrouped and took the match, and the opponent, firmly by the scruff of the neck and really didn't let up.

Andy was great in his interview, both on court and with Crofty. Good to know he is going to try to practice under the lights on Hisense before the semi's, to get a feel for the night matches. That's the way, don't let the buggers grind you down kid. That said, he didn't seem bothered about the schedule issue, but even those of us who are/were annoyed knew he wouldn't be.

Given that Andy's form has lifted, and that the delightful Tsonga (I like him anyway, but he gets a gold star today Whistle) has given Federer a workout, and I have backed Andy to win the tourney, I'm quite looking forward to the semi's. Go on Andy!

That was good. The first set was a little worrying as Chardy showed signs of why he had made it this far but second two sets seemed so easy! He is getting into the zone of wanting and expecting to win which is good. Always blips but we have to forgive those in return for the rest of the skills.

Just been looking at the other match - rubbish with so many errors -  they are more than the winners. We know that Fed will up his game against Andy but could Tsonga? No idea if this will suddenly come to life so I am going to watch the cricket instead.

It looks like an Andy/Fed SF will probably be even money in the betting odds.

Well done Andy.  Chardy perhaps regrets tweaking Andy's tail in Cinci now as Andy not taking any nonsense today apart from the blip that I missed.  Lovely relaxed post-match interview for those who says he has no sense of humour.  Now jw French pride rests on you.   Take it to 5 closely fought sets please and ideally win but if you can't do that knacker the smug one for us so he gets a late night and might regret the cushy night match.

Strong start, little dip up 4-0, allowing Chardy to get a break back and then fell 0-30 down at 5-4. Some clutch play to seal the set then started to play much better after that. To be fair I'm not sure how much the little blips were down to Andy's game as much as Chardy raising his - he wasn't missing in those games.
