Nadal is out according to BBC News - what a shame - he adds so much to a tourney.

Using the May-September Ranking spreadsheet if Andy wins Wimbledon he would be only 5 pts behind Rafa.

This might sound daft, but i'm actualy very wary of Del Potro now coming into his side of the draw. I know its grass and all that but still, he's playing some awesome tennis.
That said, if Murray can get to the final I am sure he will beat that f**king twat Federer. Afterall, Fed is still the same sh*t player that was in decline not but a couple of months ago. Lests face it, Nadal's semi match with Djokovich in Madrid meant that Rafa was playing at about 50% in the final against fed and that goat has been basking in the glory ever since. Murray has a major score to settle against the nose and i am convinced that Murray beating him in a Wimbledon final will spell the end for Fed again. It was Murray that started his decline the last time and this time round it will be nails in coffin.....Roll on Wimbledon

I think its so sad about Rafa, feel really bad for him and sincerely hope he's going to be o.k. As for Andy's chances Don't want to take anything for granted unless I jinx him.

Perfect draw for Andy.
He is drawn against the 2nd division of big servers for the early rounds which will groove his return game while having a lot of easy service games on his own delivery.
With Nadal out, the only two threats for me in the top half are Roddick and Gonzalez and he has beaten both of them. Seriously, he will either play Kiefer or Gonzalez for a place in the semis.
Can't see Del Potro going too far this week although he does serve a lot better now. I do think Federer has a stinker and may not make the QFs.
p.s. I cannot see Nadal playing again this year. Tendonitis in his knee after playing on clay is very dodgy. Clay is the most forgiving of the surfaces and if he is getting the injury on clay I can't see him risking it on hard-courts where it would only become exacerbated. My guess would be his next tournament will be in the South American clay season in February next year.

Evening.... commissioner...

All this final talk is making me nervous, but it seems perfectly reasonable now! Just hope he doesn't come unstuck against someone like Del Potro, that would be just typical!

Wow, really? It is a serious condition, especially the fact it's in both knees.

ooh he just might pull this off, dare we dream. . . . . this is a beautiful draw, he's even managed to avoid the big swashbuckling powerhouses like tsonga and versasco.
