Andy Murray is through to the third round of Wimbledon after comfortably beating Germany's Tobias Kamke on Court One, 6-3 6-3 7-5.
In a rain delayed second round match Murray was far from his best but was still far too strong for his opponent. A visibly nervous Kamke double faulted twice in the opening service game and handed the Scot an immediate break of serve.
Murray's forehand misfired throughout, but his serve was imperious and a break back point in the seventh game was quickly snuffed out with a huge first delivery. Kamke battled gamely and impressed throughout with aggressive basline play, but was never in danger of causing an upset.
Next up is the veteran Ivan Ljubicic. The match is scheduled to be played on Friday at a time to be announced.
