Touched by his noodly appendage

Andy Murray is through to the third round of Wimbledon after comfortably beating Germany's Tobias Kamke on Court One, 6-3 6-3 7-5.

In a rain delayed second round match Murray was far from his best but was still far too strong for his opponent. A visibly nervous Kamke double faulted twice in the opening service game and handed the Scot an immediate break of serve.

Murray's forehand misfired throughout, but his serve was imperious and a break back point in the seventh game was quickly snuffed out with a huge first delivery. Kamke battled gamely and impressed throughout with aggressive basline play, but was never in danger of causing an upset.

Next up is the veteran Ivan Ljubicic. The match is scheduled to be played on Friday at a time to be announced.

I adjust my shorts all the time, its a terrible thing when you are hung like a.......!

Good win with little fuss and that is all that matters.  Top form is not needed right now, only from around next wednesday onwards.

Well done, Andy!!  You won in straights, couldn't be more pleased!

On the shorts front:  Why aren't manufacturers of undershorts for sportswear sending Andy a selection to try.  There must be something comfy out there!  That would be nice of them & patriotic too.

It's also a fact that we all have to make an adjustment now and again one way or another but most of us are not in an arena, so they who are just have to be able to do what they need to do. without even thinking about it.

 yay

What's all this you lot worrying about adjusting his shorts????  The lad is a genius and he's making this corner of Scotland happy and proud.  Keep focused Andy as all your true fans know you can do it, just believe in yourself like the rest of us do.  .... and if you need to tweak yer shorts well so be it! hug  Good luck and thank you for a great night's tennis.

I just can't believe that Rafa is still adjusting his shorts after all these years ! He has enough money to get some made up specifically for him, so why doesn't he do so ? Really strange............
Now if one of the girls started fiddling with their knickers, there would be uproar !  shocking
