I'm pretty sure he's been gracious in defeat ever since...ever. I mean, maybe he should take note of Federer's behaviour of not shaking the umpire's hand after losing or during post match interviews say something along the lines of "I gave the match away"...

Sorry my comment was tongue in cheek, because it seemed that everybody was being mooted for Andy's team and I felt lets just get rediculous.

He could even get Tim Henman on board to teach him to be a good loser and thus help his popularity
rating.
I think he's got that down pat after these last 8 months...don't you? Ain't done much winning!

I've been somewhat favourable of the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' attitude, but I have now come to terms with the idea that things aren't broken, they use need tweaking. At such a level one shot can make such a difference to the outcome, so even if a new coach makes him play one more agressive shot in a match, that's a step in the right direction, and can only get him closer to his grand slam victory.

Courage isn't absence of fear but mastery of it.

^Agreed but its what is going through Andy's mind which is worrying, is he determined to do it his way and if the coach doesn't agree he is out the door.  Andy is quite stubborn and has the 'arrogance of youth' (no disrespect to the youth of today) he needs to take on board constructive criticism and I don't think he is able to do that yet.
Sorry, Iris, I disagree.

"Now I feel good again. I feel confident after the way Wimbledon went. I kind of saw what the problems were, what I needed to do to get back to playing top-three, top-four tennis again. I addressed it."

This suggests to me that Andy finally realised what most people have long been thinking - that having two coaches who were probably giving him conflicting advice was not a good idea - and was prepared to do something about it.  By addressing the problem, he has shown a good deal of maturity.  Of course we'll never know exactly what happened in Miami.  All we do know is that he tried to persuade Miles to stay - but in what capacity?  Continuing, as Overend says, as little more than a hitting partner?  Andy says he wants wider input in order to improve his game, but does that mean he wanted a new coach to whom Maclagan would play second fiddle and lose any influence he had?  Somehow I've a feeling Corretja's departure is irrelevant.  In saying that he wants "wider input" it seems that Andy's also now mature enough to realise that he will have to stop being stubborn and take advice and constructive criticism on board if he's to achieve his goals.

I have never heard or read of agassi's opinion on Andy but McEnroe certainly takes an interest in hiis game and my reading of things is he would want a more aggressive approach. However as you say this is all speculation and after the US open we will know more.
Well he was extremely warm towards Andy at that exhibition match for the Wimbledon roof -  and I'm sure I've read that he's said very positive things about him.  I think it's premature for us all to be reading too much into what Andy said about disagreements about his game. For one thing he isn't always that precise in  his language and for another even if it is about disagreement where his game should be going we can't be sure about the nature of that disagreement.  If he goes for a top coach then surely that's tantamount to acknowledging he has to listen to them - otherwise he'll be wasting his money.  Also, he's been talking about having been in a rut post AO and he sounds to me like someone who wants to move his game on.  So Iris et al, don't get downhearted just yet! From what Andy said at the press, "I need someone who can work with Alex..but I haven't looked at anyone yet.".. assuming there was really something going between the two coaches and Corretja is not out of the picture just yet!

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Here's an article in which Agassi talks briefly about Andy, dated 10 Nov 2009

Well found Aileen - I think it would be so good if he at least turned to Agassi for advice even if just on a one-off basis like Verdasco did a year or so ago. And it certainly helped him.
