However, again he showed that he can dig deep to finish out a match...just wish he wouldn't play like that and get in that situation in the first place lol
He just likes to shorten the life expectancy of his supporters. Very Happy

I liked the way Andy typically showed so much respect for Ferrer in his interview with Courier.  Feel a bit sorry for him - he's showed so much grit and determinaion.

Don't think I can say any more than has already been said about this match.  Strange that in the first two sets it was Andy's usually erratic first serve that was firing, and that's what saw him through.  Also I never again want to hear that Andy is a tiebreak choker.

Hopefully he'll get over his aches and pains before Sunday, and hope even more that the two-day break might put Djoko off the boil ... maybe ...
Andy - you have to keep believing, and we do too. cmon yeah

Yeah, maybe Djokovic has peaked too soon! We live in hope people...

Ooh, and it's gonna have been hotter, sunnier and more humid by then, which Nole doesn't like too much. Why can't it be played in the afternoon!

I would rather Andy struggled and won, than be like Federer and struggle and lose.  One guy is homeward bound and the other has a chance of a slam.

I think you read too much into it.  Anyone who has watched tennis over the last 20 years knows players have won slams without playing amazing tennis, struggled like crazy in the semi-final and romped it in the final.  We over analyse Andy too much in this country.  Let's enjoy more and stress less!

Anyone who expects Andy to play amazing in every match and romp home in a slam is living in a fantasy land.  It is incredibly hard.  It is little wonder Rafa often looks quite ordinary outside of slams, it is because it takes so much out of you, and the level you have to peak at is so hard to maintain.

Hope Andy is resting up.  The warmer weather will indeed be a help, but it will take an amazing effort to win here.

Completely agree, no one knows whats going to happen on sunday, the fact that Andy is there for the second straight year, is an achievement in itself. Nole and Ferrer are two very different players. Nole is definately not as Fit as Ferrer I actually thought Andy looked surprisingly fresh after his match. Come Sunday Andy will be ready. cmonandy

So happy that Andy is through to the final, it was so nerve racking I actually came over ill during the match, I had to run to the loo, say no more.
I'm sure Andy will come through on Sunday, I don't think he's going to slip away this time. Hope the British press won't be over him too much as they have been waiting  76 years whatever for a Brit to get a GS. I want Andy to win so much, but for himself and his family. I don't give a monkeys about Britain not having a Grand Slam winner for whatever years, I just care about Andy.

I also predicted an Andy v Nole final from the beginning.

I only caught snippets of the match, and the dying stages of the fourth in my lunch hour.  Looks as if Andy dug deep to get through this one.  Soooo delighted for him.  yay

Oh God.... here goes again on Sunday, although I do think Andy can get inside Djok's head and overcome him to win this.  pray

Nigel, I'm laughing at your reference to Andy looking like a goalie.  Spot on!  Hating the green shirt.  But, who cares!  He can play in his boxers if he's winning.  Come to think of it....  Think:

The green is because he is a Hibee, his only flaw in my eyes. So pleased he has made it through but have no fingernails left.
