I want Andy to win so much, but for himself and his family. I don't give a monkeys about Britain not having a Grand Slam winner for whatever years, I just care about Andy.
I agree with you so much ChrisMac. however, it would also be nice to kick his critics you know where flush
I was so proud of Andy. His serve was off, his game was off, he was wincing yet he found a way to get the little terriers teeth out of his leg yay
I have no expectations of Sunday, Nole is in fine form and well rested. I just hope the team can get him fighting fit and believing in himself. But however he does, I'll always love the way he plays, when on song every good as TMF. Against Meltzer he was sublime . As I said b4, he's coming into his prime and there'll be many more chances. Fed is 29, David 28  they got to the semis. cmonandy

Very pleased to have gotten that text from James. Smile

We'll see how this goes, funny how I used to be a Djoko fan.

Well done Andy. If Andy has recovered from the exertions of the Ferrer match, then he may just grab that elusive win. It may just come down to a few points and Andy played these so well against Ferrer today when it really mattered.

I think Nole will be too confident.  Andy doesn't fear him, and I do think he may just take this.  Oh man... I'm ******** my pants.... Frown

Couldnt see the match today because of work but spent the morning yelling at the phone whilst trying to follow the score. So relieved when he got through, have watched highlights tonight probably wouldnt have been so worried if I had been able to watch.
So looking forward to Sunday - Go Andy!!

On a lighter note, love the penguin impression.

Federernation on board the Murray-mother ship.  Murray has beaten Djokovic the last 3 times they met and has won the last 6 sets.  They have practiced on many occassions.  Murray has too many weapons and variety in his game.  Murray is in better shape and will run down Djoker if it goes the distance.  Djoker was puffing heavily agaisnt Fed and he is lucky it did not go longer.  Federation predicts Murray in four sets.  It's time Murray got his long awaited Grand Slam!  Djoker thinks too much of himself and Murray is a nice gentleman whose tennis grand slam time is long overdue.

God just watching recording of eurosport. 5-4 fourth set - commentator says everyone but the scots wants a fifth set and andy has been too cocky. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? He is British for goodness sake and the least arrogant sporting star I ever saw. Why can they not just support him in the uncritical way they did Henman? It is so unfair.

AGREED! These people will ALWAYS find something to be negative about. Professional commentary should be objective! Some commentators run out of intelligent things to say and generally Andy gets a hard time from the media, they try to put the pressure on him - the whole Fred Perry thing.

If GB want a world class tennis player they should get behind Andy. True lovers of sport want new players to advance, not put them down and try to hold onto the established players. Whats the use of a two horse race- like it is now, virtually, with FED & RAFA? It may be impressive the number of slams these 2 have, but a monopoly does nothing for the sport in the long run!!!

Actually, its amazing that everyone is talking about Andy, if not always for the right reasons. They're really obsessed by him and his quest for the GS. The match will be phenomenal i think..  Really hope Andy wins yay yay

Thanks for the video.  It was great to watch the interview with Courier again and to see Andy smiling and poking fun at himself for losing track of the score.  Good crowd-pleasing stuff.

On a lighter note, love the penguin impression.
Was trying to think what he reminded me of. lol

Oh God.... here goes again on Sunday, although I do think Andy can get inside Djok's head and overcome him to win this.  pray
You being positive about Andy's prospects, Elly??? shocking Very Happy

Murray keys to success: 1.  First serve must penetrate Jerkman Joker's defenses. 2. Aggressive serve and volley in order to not allow Joker to get in a rythm. 3. Self-believe & confidence. Relax and execute so the 2.2 millions & 2000 points belongs to England/Scottish Murray. hug

Andy gave a beautful interview. Looked at ease and raised a laugh, not only that, he was honest about having lost track of the score! How many sportsmen would admit that I wonder? Some would have covered up the truth.
Thats one of the things I love about Andy. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! cmonandy
