I simply can't believe what I've been reading.  What greater truth do you know sb that enables you to decide that Andy is lying? You still have not answered the question as to what could possibly be his motive. And perhaps you should be nominating him for an oscar for brilliant acting as all I could see was a man in real pain for the first part of the match. As to how he answered questions well I don't think I'd be giving a brilliant performance after a match like that when he was clearly stunned just to have come through it. You deserve to be sued for libel you nasty little troll. And please don't lie to us that you are a genuine fan of Andy Murray. Being a fan of some of his shots is not the same as being a fan of the player. JK don't give up - the trolls are having a field day at present but don't let the bastards get you down.  |

What I find most disheartening, as I've said, is that I feel this really is the end of Andy Murray as far as the great unwashed of this country are concerned. I've no great affection for most of my fellow Brits - I feel much more comfortable when in central Europe - but I still find it sad.

Yes but also a place where we can show solidarity jk. And Nigel if the great British public had watched the match rather than have it mediated by the likes of Virginia Wade they would have seen how we have a true fighter in Andy Murray. I agree it's utterly dispiriting. And not helped by the vile comments posted by some of his so-called fans on this site. |

Now perhaps people on this website will understand why Scottish supporters of Andy get so fed up. Andy cannot win he has to put up with all the crap written about him in the English Press and English Tennis in general. He does his best but he will never be accepted by so called tennis supporters in England. I am afraid it just confirms what I have always thought and I do not think it will change. I know there are some great supporters in England but they are in the minority. I feel sorry for them as the majority do not appreciate Andy for his skill,determination and courage. Virginia Wade is a prime example she seems to think she can make uncalled for comments with impunity she is a total snob. She is what the class system in this country is all about. I rest my case.
