At the end, it is out of the question for Andy to win the SPORTY this year. He certainly will not be within the top three. Moving on, I doubt whether AM will ever win even if he were to win AO, Wimbledon and the Olymics this year.
But, to be honest I don't believe that SPORTY is one of Andy's prime aims. Therefore, let's enjoy the programme this year and support Andy in his most important quest to win his first (and subsequent multi-) slam victory.

Yes It is being realistic. We know he is not going to win SPOTY. I do not really care about that. I just wish that he was being supported by all UK citizens, that would be great but that will not happen either. Even if he wins any of the above. But for those of us who are genuine fans we all wish Andy the best for the New Year a fresh start. Winning the AO would be a great beginning and the rest may follow.
