yes he has an underlying problem it would appear that got worse as the year went on and was then dealt with with cortisone injections, which I suspect are now wearing off.
Great to see Kei beat the **** out of birdy and on his home turf

Yes. He has an ongoing injury.

I have to say, he doesn't look too bad to me in Tokyo. He has touched his back once or twice, and he did have the trainer out the other day, which is unusual for him, but he looks like he's moving all right. I hope he's okay.

I think that too Alis. For me Fed's tennis is a redeeming feature but I can't stand Berdych's personality or his tennis.
Fleming paid Andy a gr8 compliment. He said Andy was the closest to Mac in terms of skills of all the players.

yeh and Mac has come close to saying it himself too.   Both Fleming and Miles M were lauding Andy's skills at the net and hoping he'll come forward me as he was doing at points today.  Amen to that too.

I have just watched the match on Sky.  Andy played very well except in those couple of games which would have been alright against someone further down the rankings.  Stan always seem to bring out his best tennis when playing Andy although this is what Nadal and Uncle Tony say they have to do.  He is starting to use his whole 'arsenal of shots' now and that supports what he said about 'thinking tennis'.  He is such an intelligent young man it only makes sense that hwe should play like this.  Fingers crossed for tomorrow although I see no reason why he should not win.

Of course Andys okay... Haven't you watched Andy over the years.
He,s got more twitches than someone with Tourette,s.... It's all mannerisms with him... he ain't going to change now....just enjoy him.

Just because he automatically clutches at body parts doesn't mean there isn't an underlying back problem robbie.

Hm.... Watched the full Berdych match. Very strange. I wonder how many of the Yakuza had a bet on their boy winning in 2... Just a thought.

With Berdych I don't know what it is. I don't like some of his behaviour, like the way he got over the cap incident in the US, that sort of thing, but I don't know. There's just 'something' about him that rankles with me.

I'd go along with that absolutely TJ.  Just don't know what it is with Berdych but he makes all my hackles rise - Fed is just Fed as we all know only too well.
