Ruthie's a mystery. Her profile says East Midlands, but she says she's in Japan. Maybe she's in the East Midlands of Japan. That would be Tokyo.

confused you and Nigel are both correct I'm getting mixed-up. Ruthie "sia an arra" ..think that means something like goodnight in japanese or maybe just means i'm talking absolute sh#te .Rachie...if you ever go to Japan let me know  hug

I had a good giggle at recent posts.   I am as much of a mystery as Andy's new coach it seems.  Quite like being the 'mystery girl'.  But to clarify:  I am just visiting Japan for 2 weeks primarily for work but also doing some sightseeing.  I don't think Rachie is here - indeed hardly any Westerners here - assuming Rachie is a Westerner. And yes I live in the E Midlands still.
Blueberry hill - oh lordy indeed.  I'm starting to feel anxious already!  If he does ok at MC I will take it as a good omen so must be positive.  I am hoping this means he will unveil new coach just before - as someone said perhaps on his return to London.  It would all fit together wouldn't it?
ps Japan is 8 hours ahead at present.  I'm not like Aileen posting in the wee hours of the morning.

Just found this while rooting around Guardian website to find out more about MC . It was posted by someone on a thread about whether Andy needs a new coach.  I thought the point about Reyes was really interesting as remember Agassi talking about him in his autobiography.  Sorry this should probably be on another thread but have to go now.
Does Murray really need a coach? He did make it to the finals of Australian Open sans coach. Now that he is with Adidas, perhaps they can guide him towards Gill Reyes. I know he's not a coach, but Agassi credits him massively as a guru. He's been helping Verdasco on and off and Verdasco is now an established top 10 player. Everyone seems to agree that it's Andy's mind rather than his game that needs most improvement. Gill Reyes could be just the man to nurture the fiery or sometimes cry baby Scot to the next level. He's part of the Adidas high performance team. Andy is part of Adidas now. It's simple mathematics. Why can't this be a fit?

Can't stand clay grr and can't wait for the 'clay season' to be over grr and hate MC because I can never see the ball grr  That said, I hope that Andy gets some matches under his belt Very Happy and it's a beautiful place to visit Very Happy and covers his ranking points at the very least Very Happy

I think Andy should get hypnotised by Paul McKenna - I heard David Walliams talking about his swim across The Channel the other day and he said that Paul helped him with his preparations.  Maybe Paul could enstill some confidence into Andy.

Murrays problem is taking advice,  and I feel he has no intention of doing it any other way than HE thinks is the best way,  if you don’t agree with murray “ go“  - until he starts taking advice from a knowledgeable coach on a regular basis and for a prolonged period ( ie years ) he will be an also ran for the rest of his career.
