Good report Hazel.......well done! Thought Davydenko hit some brilliant shots too, including a couple of superb returns, but he was just totally outclassed. Wish he'd shave his whole head though! That bit of hair round the outside makes him look so old!
You mean old like this, Caz? Looks like my granddad trying to swat a fly.

At the beginning of the third set, when Davydenko seemed to be recovering and getting into the match at last, Murray, having gone long on a forehand, immediately clutched his knee. Did anyone else notice this?
I didn't notice it but the comms did. If it was his right one, then it could be that troublesome bipartite patella which sometimes causes pain with certain movements. Otherwise it could just be one of the twinges all players pick up during matches or, as Ruthie says, one of Andy's unconscious reflex actions after playing a poor shot.

Interesting collection, and it shows once again just how humble Andy is that he's willing to take questions from members of the public. However, the thought of listening to him sing makes me cringe. Heard him on a video once and it was awful. Mind you, if he did win Wimbledon I'd be so over the moon I doubt It'd bother me!

I think I'd be incapable of singing anything. Probably be reduced to a crumpled emotional heap on the floor!

Same here and I think he would be as well! When he does get a slam, I'm guessing there'll be tears...

Q. What is the gesture you did in celebration?
ANDY MURRAY: Well, it's something for me and the guys that I work with. I don't really want to go into too much detail because I'll end up getting asked about it every single day.
Q. Nothing to do with pointing to heaven and God, is it?
ANDY MURRAY: Whether it is or not, I'm not going to tell anyone.

When I read this I immediately thought of his links with Dunblane - is that just me being weird?
