Cant understand some of the comments on MW today. Dont think Andy played badly today except maybe in the first few games where he said himself he was nervous. Did what he had to do in two sets with only 1 break point against him and a very reasonable first serve percentage. Felt quite relaxed whilst watching it (which is unusual) am I just being to easy on him?
I can only speak for myself of course, but when I saw him getting up tight during the first few games and really letting rip (yet again), I got worried!
We've seen him lose the plot altogether when this occurs.
He overreacted to a few missed opportunities, it wasnt the end of the world, afterall. He just needed to try and ease into the game and get comfortable with the court and speed.
I think he lets himself down when he does this, his gesticulations were very crude (call me old fashioned) and with the effing and jeffing as well, not a pretty sight.
When this occurs, we dont know if it's going to continue and thereby destroy his chances of winning.
