Murray returns to competitive action in Montreal to defend the Rogers Cup title he has won in the past two years.

Murray, fresh from his mid-season training camp in Miami, will be looking for a good run ahead of the US Open.

His potential route to the final:

R1 > Bye
R2 > Anderson or Andujar
R3 > Wawrinka or Nalbandian (expected)
QF > Fish (expected)
SF > Nadal (expected)
F > Djokovic or Federer (expected)

Not a bad draw for him. Lets hope he just doesn't go walkabout with lesser players.

Welcome back LL! hug

Great video interviews.  Andy as usual taking nothing for granted where his opponents are concerned but he's looking good and sounding relaxed and confident.  cmon yeah Andy, we want to see this again [Telegraph, 14/8/10] ... "Not only is Andy Murray through to the final of the Rogers Cup; not only has he maintained his position as the world’s fourth best player but he has stated his intentions just two weeks before the start on the US Open - on a hard court, Murray is one of the best in the business." ... plus trophy

NOTE: CHANGE OF START TIME FOR MEN'S NIGHT MATCHES -

ATP men will play this year in Francophile Montreal while the women's WTA event starts in Toronto. Television coverage will be combined into one package, with men getting an early start at 5:30 for "night" matches due to television demands.

Some journalists are talking "Big 3" not "Big 4" Oh wouldn't it be lovely, if Andy overtook Fed in the rankings and made them eat their words  Fingers crossed
