Didn't think he would cry after it.

Glad he is out winning matches after a grand slam setback as opposed to moping around on the practice courts. Well done Team GB.

This shows the correct side of Andy.

It is now understood why he often appears dour on court. He is keeping his emotions under control. I just did not expect what we witnessed.

Well done, Team GB! And well done Murrays!

Haven't been able to see the match yet but from what I've heard on the radio sounds like Andy played really well. So good that he hasn't gone into a slump following his defeat by Rafa.  And sounds like the win meant a lot to him.  It seems like he has been genuinely moved by all the support he's been getting in Scotland.  And good to see him winning the dubs with Jamie too.

Ruthie, it was on the LTA website. Did you miss it as you were out?

Yes I did I'm afraid.  I don't really like watching on line as I spend so much of my time in front of a pc and also find the picture isn't that great. So I decided to stick with the highlights and sounds like I should get most of the match + I hope the tears at the end.

I'd say the emotion came through due to not only his win but for the super support he was surrounded with & for winning for his team.

I'll say it again. That was beautiful, Andy!
