I'm sure Miss Scotland is already on red cod alert .....
She would be an easy rebound!

Was Miss Scotland the dark haired girl in the peach dress that was supporting Andy at Wimbledon in the 2nd week? I walked past her in the grounds, she's really striking

I'm a little concerned as well because I think in the last few months we have witnessed what it has done to his career. However, I think by the time we get to the Australian Open, he will be over her and therefore will be fully focused on his tennis.
I feel sorry for him though because he's not the type of guy who goes out socialising and meeting girls. So it may sound silly but I think it might be a struggle for him to replace her.
It depends on how deep his feelings were. Os and I feel that Nadal has been suffering somewhat from the sad events in his private life (i.e the rift in his parents' marriage) as well as his physical problems. He seems to have completely lost his sparkle and it may be that the break up with Kim will affect Andy for some time. The newspaper article stressed that the breakup was amicable, that they are still friends and hopefully he will settle more quickly because of this. Our thoughts go out to him, but he's plenty of time for girlfriends.

It's perfect timing at least, he can spend sometime with his family over Christmas which will hopefully help the healing process.

He'll give it time I'm sure but I think he might be someone who prefers to be in a relationship than not, we're not dealing with a Verdasco. It's none of my business at the end of the day, I just want the both of them to be happy in their separate ways. If you don't mind me saying that is a very nice comment.

I believe he will be in Miami won't he? And then on his way to Australia. I think the article mentioned he wouldn't be in England for Christmas and that he was leaving for Miami next week.

Andy's staying in Miami over the christmas period and flying stright to Australia so family/friends will have to go over to Miami.

Must say I am absolutely gutted for them. The article states that the first cracks appeared at the US Open, and there was speculation on this site then that Kim seemed very late in appearing there. They've had more time together in the last few weeks and I wonder if the decision came having had time to really talk things through. Its so sad when a couple break up but they were only 18 when they got together and things have changed for both of them. Andy's time away in US and OZ will do them both good - give Andy time to conentrate totally on his tennis. Maybe they'll get back together, maybe not. I wish them both all the best and hope the press respect their privacy. They have never courted publicity so they dont deserve harassment

Its a tough relationship from the get go anyway. Its not like they can pop round to each others house a few times in the week, hes off travelling all over the world. Its amazing they've lasted this long. Especially as Kim wanted her own life here too.

Yup... must have sucked to have been the girl who follows the famous person around without being able to properly live her own life.
