Murray is very good at despatching the "lesser" players. That's the sign of a quality tennis player.

Super write up Joe and brilliant play from Andy. Let's hope he keeps this super form for the rest of the tourney.

I am supporting anybody who plays murray this year, while I can admit that he is a good tennis player, I am very proud to be English and considering his comments about my country and the english football team, I hope that he gets beaten, getting beaten in straight sets in the final by a wild card would be awesome, remeber Goran won after entering via a wildcard.

See how your anti-English allegation is debunked here:

The number of times it's been debunked though, Mark, yet we still get these idiots spouting the same old rubbish - makes me think that they deliberately choose to ignore the facts to suit their own twisted agendas.
As for being so defensive of the England football team - who gives a sh*t, they're a bunch of w**kers anyway!

Just got to get used to it, I doubt it will ever end.
My reply will be the same every time, rather than get emotionally invested, I'll simply link to an article that debunks it.

Might also interest you to know that all the wildcards in the other half of the draw are gone. So bang goes your hope for the final. Well-researched comments indeed.

I'm also english, and find myself sick by such pathetic comments, particularly if made by football supporting idiots. I'm well proud of Andy Murray, and have followed his rise to the top over the last few years.
Looking forward to a british success, more than that plonker will have with the england football team!!

Weird, isn't it. The "I hate Murray because he poked fun at the Ingerland Footie team" crowd are the same bunch of delusional cretins who denigrate other successful British sportspeople because they dare to be confident and driven to win.
