Now can I persuade Os to beback here for 3 p.m.? I doubt it. I'll just have to catch up when we get back to the guest house, there are too many things to do in Lochinver and the countryside is beautiful. Good Luck Andy - we'd lke to keep off the tranquilisers too if you could manage it.

That's how I felt too. I jumped in the air and gave a fist pump.
My husband thinks I'm mad.

I nearly had heart failure watching the livescore in work today. I did a little dance under my desk when he won. Smile

Me too - though I danced on the table when he won!!

Title QUITE QUITE Brilliant Boogers  clap, I have NEVER used so many swear words in my life while watching today shocking However I do think that todays final set showed just HOW MUCH Andy wanted to win. Now, there is no doubt in my mind that he believes in himself. Forget the Psychologists- Forget the Trainer..................let's just see Andy do his work........  Whistle

Monfils/Federer showed that it takes a lot more than bluster and antics to win or beat one of the top 4..Hate to say it but I really think that Fed is going to X The Djoker in the Semi. Chr#st wish it had been Andy in Rome

JAN!! bigarmhug  Knew you'd really love that area. Smile  Hope the weather hasn't been too unkind although the forecasts have suggested otherwise.

All I can say about the match is, that, although I'm glad Murray won and the ankle seems to be OK, why oh why does he wait until his back's against the wall against players like Troicki before he comes out fighting?  Apart from giving his supporters near heart-failure, he gives himself a lot of unnecessary hard work and grief, and wastes a lot of energy in the process.  Sorry, but like the rest of you I get so frustrated because I know it's all there.

Just read an article in the telegraph on line where it says Andy is unhappy that people are saying (including Troicki) that there is nothing wrong with his ankle. He says he has a bad sprain and torn tendon and is taking up to 20 pills a day! He also said it could let him down at any time. I am beginning to wonder if Queens may be loosing the home boy in order for him to rest it for Wimby.

Watched a reshow of the match (much easier to watch when you know the score) and the ball boy incident was a bit bizzare and think it had more of an effect on both players than it appeared. Funny it was the game Andy got broken. Am I making excuses for him............yes probably.

He's got to be careful - if he slips on it again he could sever the tendon and then it's curtains until post US Open...

Could collapse at any moment; what a load of hyperbolic rubbish. And 20 pills a day, what those be? Can't be pain killers/anti inflammatory drugs , because that would be significantly in excess of the recommended maximum daily dose. What else could he be taking? There aren't drugs legally available to a tennis player that will in any way expedite the healing of a tendon. Wouldn't surprise me if he was being disingenuous and including whatever vitamin pill regimine he already takes in there.

20 pills a day doesn't have to be over exceeded dosage if it's say a mix of anti-inflammatory ones and painkillers, I'm on about that a day Shrug
