Well you call a 9 time Slam champion a talentless hack.

I'm not getting what your point is 'Lurking'.  You seem to have me down as the enemy, and nothing could be further from the truth.  However, each to his own, and all of that good stuff. Smile

Andy Murray eased into the quarter-finals of the Rome Masters with a 6-2 6-3 win over Potito Starace.

Murray, who showed great determination and spirit, only struggled once in the match when Starace redressed an earlier Murray break to level the second set at 3-3.

I thought I moved very well tonight, and I won a lot of points on long rallies where I probably shouldn't have, and at important moments

The Scot now plays German Florian Mayer in the the last eight of the Rome Masters.

Our match report doesn't seem up to it's usual standards Whistle

Some amazing gets.

Andy seems to forget at times that he's a great hustler yes

Alas, I don't think I set the timer on my video long enough for this match - must have been a long match before.  Never mind, I am happy in the knowledge that I'll be up for him tonight cmon yeah

Good luck today, Andy. Let's hope your confidence, as well as your serve and forehand were clicking like they were yesterday.
And how about a nice birthday present for yourself and us fans? cmonandy

Hi Bev,
you did not miss much of the match......ESPN screened the Federer/Gasquet match live while Andy's match was being played -- and completed -- on another court. When the Federer match was completed, they screened the recording of Andy's match from 3/3 in the second set to "Match" as a bridge to the start of Djokovic's match.  Hopefully we will watch an entire Murray match tonight! ;-)

What a shame you missed it Bev as it was such a joy to watch.  Hope you can see another display as good against Mayer though he sounds abit tricky.

Caz, I've noticed the crowd has been really partisan in Rome too. But also in Madrid. Nole's brilliant shots were being met with stony silence Frown
