I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

A knee injury has forced Marin Cilic to withdraw from his quarter-final match against Andy Murray at the Aegon Championships.

The Scot will face either Fernando Verdasco or Andy Roddick in Saturday's semi-final.

A bit more rest for Andy's injury, good. Smile

You think?  More time to become complacent is what I'm thinking...

I doubt very much he'd be complacent before playing Roddick on grass.  I think it's unalloyed good news.  He must be tired after RG and it gives his ankle a day's rest.  And playing on court 1, dodging the rain, would have been abit of a downer I think.

I don't really care about his result at Queens, just want him to get in some safe practice on grass before Wimbledon.

Yes you're right that's what really matters but as I've said on another thread a victory over Roddick on grass and winning the whole thing would be a morale booster before Wimby.  And a title this year wouldn't go amiss.

Exactly.  I think missing the match up with Cilic isn't so good for him.

Why when he'll get better practice against Roddick tomorrow probably?  And it may not have been safe on court 1 today with all the rain.

That's assuming Roddick wins?  Lots of assumptions going on here.

Why? - because it breaks the momentum he was gathering.  He has to go down a notch, mentally, from not having this match today?  From what I've learned of him thus far, I think this is what will happen.  May be talking shite, but this is what I think.

Roddick was pulverising Verdasco. He didnt have any piff in him, let alone fight. Dunno why?

Andy Twittered it was a knee injury, but that's not important to use of course.

Fair comment, but it's a new day.  Who knows?  I still think it doesn't benefit Andy in any way to have missed a match today.  Gives his mind far too much space to go walkabout.

I guess that's what we all spend alot of time doing on MW - talking shite!  None of us can know after all.  w00t

Yes you're right I am making assumptions about Roddick but would be surprised if Verdasco turned it round now.
