Wow, that's extreme stuff! Wouldn't the umpire have cottoned onto it though?  Think

That is absolutely awful - so very disappointing.  I suppose the article is legit? Verdasco will lose lots of fans if this is going on and the info in this article gets spread around.

It's not even an article? He writes his post in a completely over reactive manner! no Andy would have surely mentioned it to the umpire, he's not one to keep his mouth shut. I can't even think who would have been there, Verdasco doesn't have a permanent coach but I know Gil Reyes was working with him over Christmas, he supported Agassi for at least 10 years. Think

Verdasco doesn't seem like that sort of guy but no idea about his team.

You're right of course, it's not even an 'article'.  I was being carried along with the inflammatory tone of the whole thing.  I'm sure something would have been said if there had been a continuous monologue.  I didn't know Gil Reyes was working with Verdasco - I always thought he would have been a great addition to any team.  I thought he was working with some basketball team in L.A. but maybe that is 'yesterday's' news.

Aye Nando seems to be very friendly with the A-man so must have got in contact with Reyes though him. Just find the camp news very shocking since there's never been any reports of it in the past. Plus the post was made on AM.com.... lmao

Here is one of the other posts.  Think

I think it's such a shame that verdasco's camp was so rude and blatantly breaking the rules with coaching. The things they called Andy clearly were understood by Andy because his glares to them were lethal. I missed the part were verdasco's entourage tried mimicking me...but erika and james did tell me what they said....like i care, i was too busy cheering on Andy.

I'm sure Andy would understand what was said as he spent quite a bit of time in Spain training when he was younger, so must have a fair working knowledge of the language.  Speaking of Spain - and Andy's training - what I am wondering is why he is not more proficient on clay.  He must surely have done some basic work on that surface during his time in Spain.  Does he just not like the surface?

Andy didn't really get any sufficient time to practice and have competitive on clay in 05, 06 and 07.

Well, that seems a bit of a shame not to grab that opportunity while he was there, but it certainly explains why he looks a bit like a stork on roller skates when he's playing on clay.

More and more convinced that he was genuinely affected by his illness. He's reluctant to use it as an excuse, but a few of his comments indicate that it affected him.

I wonder if he would still have come in for the same criticism if he'd pulled out of the tournament due to illness, rather than choosing to try to play....  Shrug   It strikes me that Andy is the type of person who would be as stubborn as hell and try to play, when he really shouldn't have.  If we feel let down, imagine how he must be feeling within himself.   And if that's the case, then it's testament to his integrity not to use illness as an excuse.

Andy did the right thing by just putting his hands up at the end of the match and saying too good.

There was too much hype surrounding Andy going into this Slam. To be fair it was hype which he didnt really solicit. It was mainly a media generated thing.

I would say that th media should try tone it done. Less of all this silly talk about bookmakers odds and who is the favorite etc. He certainly is a serious contender for a slam this year, just dont shout it from the rooftops everyday. Let the guy get on with the tennis.

Lastly, who would have thought my girl would still be standing after Andy Murray had fallen.. at the Aussie Open of all places. Your always welcome to get behind Marion Bartoli. Dont forget to cheer for her tonight if you're still awake!

Cheers!
