RISING British tennis star Andrew Murray has confirmed he will make his Adelaide debut at the Australian Hardcourt Championships at Memorial Drive in January.
Murray was shamelessly lured by tournament directors Peter Johnston and Adelaide's Mark Woodforde because of his star quality.
Mark's been talking to Murray quite a bit because he has created a lot of interest in England and somehow we (Australians) are always interested in what's happening in England.

We're in the entertainment business, sure, but Murray's also a genuine contender for this tournament so we're very excited to have him. He's coming here because he sees this as an ideal preparation for the Australian Open.
The Memorial Drive tournament, one of the world's oldest, was recognised as the best for facilities on the ATP Tour last season and the reputation is spreading among international players.
