Quite agree with you scotsgeek -  we all need to chill. Good luck to Andy for the rest of the year.

Yes I agree we should as you say "chill out" and give Andy a chance.  Its a new season and I am sure he is looking forward to it.  All the best Andy.

I think we just need to chill out a little.  Djokovic has started the year at an amazing level, but nothing he has done in his career would give you any confidence he can maintain it.  Federer is as vulnerable as ever, and Nadal's fitness is still questionable at best.  Andy is still right up there with every chance to win a slam this year.  We will never have it this good again for many years.  I think we should all just relax.  Andy needs to get back winning and in a good rhythmn during IW and Miami and then try and work some confidence up on clay before we get to the green grass of Queens and wimby.  There is lots to achieve this year, and every opportunity to win a slam in the near future.  Half the trouble is we all want it so much for him that we over analyse far too much.....

Wise words.

For what it's worth, Fed looked totally disinterested in the Dubai final.  In fact, he looked as if he couldn't be bothered.  So many unforced errors - really not like him.  Djokovic played sublime tennis - a joy to watch, and he seems like a sporting guy.  Lots of sporting stuff to see live that I assume gets lost on TV.

Maybe Fed's only interested in winning Masters, or more importantly, a few more GSs to add to his haul.  Anything else is probably beneath his dignity now.

^ Am sure it will be, if not in the early stages, certainly in the latter.

The highlight of my Dubai trip was watching Feliciano Lopez practice t-shirtless.  Abs to die for.  Oh me... I suspect I'm turning into a DOL... Frown

Yep, I've got it series linked right now.  The first day is highlights only, I think, and then they go live from the second day.

I know.  I'm just sorry I didn't get my camera out on time.  Was a bit mesmerised tbh.  We watched the doubles final.  Not sure how Lopez and Chardy managed to lose that one - it all went pear shaped after a really good start - I think!  Very Happy
