Elly, Lopez AND  Chardy....OMG.... Wink and a kiss
They were easy on the eye!  Wink  However, Stakhovsky and Youzhny prevailed on the day, courtesy of a champions tie break.  Youzhny looks like a wee boy live... tender  I have pics I must download.  Whether they're worth posting is another matter. Very Happy

I don't think much of Andy for withdrawing from this tournament.  It was hardly hard work, and so many ex-pats were looking forward to his appearance here.  Sometimes he is is own worst enemy.  The more he shys away from pressure, the more the pressure will tell.  It's a self fulfilling prophecy.

We don't, and I feel bad that I don't buy it.

Yeah.... it would help if he'd communicate more with fans. But then maybe it helps him not to, and to stay away from it. We'll never know.

At the end of the day, he is his own person.  I get the impression he's a bit all over the shop - hasn't found his own groove.  That's allowed.  Not sure he'll ever get it together, tbh, but I, for one, have enjoyed watching his progress, and will continue to do so.

The battle for number 2 looks like exciting, but what about our Andy in the battle for number 4? I wonder how important it is to him....By my humble calculations on points dropping, Murray would be on 5525 and Soderling 5390, by the end of April. So as long as Andy can at least keep up with Robin, he should regain the spot.

I'm afraid I can't think of Soderling as no ! I know he's improved immensely and all credit to him....but I really can't. As AO showed it doesn't seem to matter if you're 4.5 or possibly 6. However, Andy has so few points to defend from now on till ? Wimbledon? I can see him easily regaining no4. However, with our Andy who on earth knows from one match to the other  search me
