I can well imagine that the media has ' got up his nose' as the headlines disgust me.

Me too Tamila.  Typical British press - all over him last year after Wimbledon, etc, then now giving him a good bashing when he plays just one very poor match for the first time in years.  Ours is a truly pathetic country which takes such delight in putting our sportspeople down at the slightest opportunity.

I never buy a paper or listen to the news after Andy loses.

I couldn't believe the Scottish edition  of one newspaper which had a dig at Sir Chris Hoy for having the audacity to retire from competitive cycling before next year's Commonwealth Games, effectively insinuating that he was letting his country down and couldn't he have hung on for one more year?  Takes the biscuit, that one.

Bastards!! After all he has done.. Which paper Aileen? Like to see them do a fraction of what he's achieved.

Poor you.  I've a friend who's allergic to grass pollen, made worse if the grass has just been cut.  He's tried all the usual stuff but finds it makes him too drowsy, so he's in a no-win situation.

Already under the weather. Not sure what happened because pollen has yet to kick in as we still got some flurries in the morning. The whole Boston drama was probably a bit much for me.

The Daily Record, rag that it is anyway.  I only noticed it by chance when I was searching for something else online.

That really is shocking. I'm sure no-one is more disappointed than Chris Hoy.

I was in WHSmith the day after that horrific torture trial ended in Glasgow and that same paper had a pull-out section all about the murder. It was advertised on the front page as though it was some collector item. Who the hell wanted to read more about it? It was bad enough hearing about it on the Scottish news for weeks and weeks.

Fortunately I'm sure Chris doesn't read the DR - a newspaper written by morons for morons.

Yep, he came till the QF last year, so will be losing points.

Madrid will make this loss disappear.
