"Kim has blogged that she would like to get married and have children"
I just had a thought when I came across the above piece of information.
Could the reason for the break up is because Kim would like to settle down, get married and have children (like Roger & Mirka) whereas Andy is still focusing on his burgeoning tennis career and having fun (6 hours on ipod, PS2) ?

The picture on the first page looks quite strange. Andy looks quite immature whilst Kim's left fingers indicate that she is not totally enjoying the experience. A kind of "alright, you can have a hug if that's what you want." It is an appropriate photo given how they have now separated but does not reflect the warmth and intimacy they shared whilst the relationship was strong.

How does Andy look immature? And you could be right about Kim or that the photo simply taken a split second before her hands ended up properly around Andy.  |

There is something about Andy's face in this photo that makes me think that it was taken quite a few years ago when he wasn't the man he is now. When was it taken Mark ?

Thanks Andrew, Mark. So it is about 17 months ago. It is strange how Andy seems to be sucking his right cheek in.
I thought that the picture showed a certain amount of neediness/clinginess on Andy's part.
Ah, now it makes sense with something that looks like a passport+ticket in his right hand and a backpack on his back. I assume this picture is taken just before he travels to play somewhere and Kim is unable to follow him.
It would have been a big sacrifice for Kim to forgo her dreams/educations/career and follow Andy everywhere he plays like Mirka does. That would not have been an easy life. I wonder if she could have done an Open University course ?
