If he carries on the way he is he will have a shot, things change very quickly.

But I hope if he were to become number one he would win a Slam - not like the women's side. No disrespect to Jelena Jankovic but it took Rafa five Grand Slams to become number one.

I kind of agree with his point about the women's game. That's why I like the new points system. Gives more weight firstly to slams and masters and secondly to tournament winners over runners up etc etc. That way your likely to see people with more tourney wins overtake people like Davy perhaps who are just consistently solid. I think it's good for the game as it "should" make people want to win more to cement their ranking place.

I hope Roger can regain #1 for a bit...at least before Andy takes it over for the next decade Smile

I think Roger deserves it. To have it for a few more weeks.

I agree, looked like Roger had sour grapes at the end! Maybe if Roger gave Andy the respect THAT ANDY HAS EARNED, maybe he would get somewhere when playing against Andy!
