I thought it was a great win against some one who's quite frankly formidable when playing at his best!
Andy broke him down well mentally too which was great!
Would this be the wrong place to say I think I fancy the pony a tinsy bit!
He's growing on me too - he's quite a nice guy really and he certainly can play outstanding tennis. Many thanks for the  ex cellent report, ljs.

I too have been a long term fan of del Potro - don't think I'm alone in this ....

I admire his tennis, and I think, barring injury, he's going to be a big name.  He's so young and so strong.  Smile

Unfortunately we do not know. As soon as we do find out, it'll be announced at the top of the forum. Smile

I'd assume if Murray faces Federer on Tuesday it's almost guarenteed to be a nightmatch for TV reasons, if he faces Verdasco however you could make a half decent case for putting it in the afternoon session presuming Sky's coverage isn't entirely dependent on Murray playing on the pimp slot.

You mean you hope he loses as otherwise Murray v Federer will surely be in the evening!
I'm the exact opposite of you, hoping Federer wins so I can see the dream match up (got tickets for Tuesday evening)! It's a wierd one, ordinarily I'd hope Federer loses so there's less chance of him making the semis. lol

Although I think it won't matter as Murray will surely play the evening session regardless of his opponent. It will draw in the British evening TV crowd. Think
