Anyone who knows tennis and watched the Rafa victories in the semis and finals of the Australian open, knows that Andy isn't even in the same class as Roger and Rafa. Yes he could maybe be in there with the Williams sisters, playing 2 sets then going home, but the gruelling 5 set matches it takes, day after day, to play with the men; Andy falls short DUDE!
His "number 4" rating benifits from his luck of being the "best British" player of the day. That ain't saying much, since hardly anyone outside of Britain can remember your last Grand Slam winner.
Andy should watch how Roger and Rafa do it! Something he can only dream of. He will only be an average tour player, never great!!! Modesty is the mark of the greatest. Roger and Rafa have class, Andy does not!!! He's British!

Must be related to fuzzy.... should I indulge with a reply? I don't think so, it's never worth indulging a troll who clearly doesn't have a clue about tennis.

Good decision.
She's probably a football fan who only watches tennis when it's the fifth set of a final in a Slam and it's on the BBC.

Hi all, glad to be back and it's good to see people have missed me and my input and it does seem as though Andy falls short on fitness despite his so called improvements in training. Could he have lived with Roger and Rafa on Sunday? I think not, clearly it would have been a 3 set match if he had played either of these players yesterday with the glum one on the losing side.

I dont think Roger 'lived with Roger and Rafa on Sunday'. He clearly had nothing left in the tank. I have no concerns about Murray's fitness. Only an idiot would dispute that.

Given that Federer cried after the final and Nadal looked none too happy about winning his first hard court slam, I'm wondering which of the three he's referring to when he refers to 'the glum one'? Surely it's not the person who accepted his fourth round defeat in a calm, sanguine manner?

That's right, Kill the messenger! You've ignored the point! Andy is an OPEN Wanna be. What else can you say? Did you see the way he walked off the court after losing? Sanguine? Is that, he's a bloody loser? He should get used to losing at open events. See YA!!!

I love these psychics who stumble in, spout semi-comprehendable crap and then leave!

I think St George and this Lynn person are just trying to wind us up. Just thought I'd catch up on the posts and I suppose they add a certain damp squib to a 'quiet' period on the tennis front. We shall see what we shall see!

I honestly believe it's best just not to respond to these 'people'. It's what they want, and if they don't get the rise out of anyone, they won't bother contributing.

I know Jan, but I'm as easily het up as the next person, and say things I shouldn't. Interesting also that we've not heard from Alice again since she started the 'Brits' thread.......
Or maybe we have, and I missed it.

She's probably realized by starting the "Great British" tennis players thread, the list was as short as Great Polish navel victories and gave up. May I add, since I've found your merry band of Murray kiss ups, I'll be around, each and every time Andy blows one. Who ever he plays, I'm pulling for them, the lower the ranking the better.
Later Dudes and Dudettes!
