Desert Island Discs
« on: February 24, 2008, 12:05 PM »
If you were sent to a desert islands and could take 5 pieces of music with you, what would you take?
(I know we did this before, but that was back in 2005!)
I would take...
1. Ralph Vaughan-Williams - Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis...in fact the full choral and orchestral works of V-W
2. Karl Jenkins - The Armed Man, A Mass for Peace.
3. Cara Dillon - All 3 albums...
4. Jack Johnson - Inaudible Melodies
5. and I can't pick a last one!

Very tough one to cut it down to 5, but.....
1. Oasis - Stop The Clocks
2. Travis - The Man Who
3. The Beatles - 1
4. Queen - Greatest Hits
5. Last one is also tough to pick, but I think I'll go for Oasis - Be Here Now, simply because it's amazing and none of its tracks made it onto the compilation that is my 1st choice.

Thanks Sarah, I was going to put some of Moz's solo work in there as well, but opted against it.
