I dont really know why. Just have never been an animal lover at all. Dogs annoy the hell out of me, and i find cats just pointless.

Well what do they offer? Come in when they're hungry, then bugger off elsewhere. Cats dont care about anyone!

OMG .......... I just couldn't do anything as brave as fostering cats - it would break my heart.
Your poor little girl - poor you, having to tell her.
I know... it was on Boxing Day too! She still remembers it! Cat was called Mia and she was adorable.. she used to drape herself around your neck and she used to wait for my kids to come from home from school and meet them at the bottom of the road.... funny how pets become part of the family,

That's what its all about, I think - pets ARE part of the family.
A friend of mine has lost her three dogs (old age) in the space of 7 months and she is devastated - an absolute basket case. She used to let them all sleep in the bed and her husband had to kip on the sofa !! Smart gal !!

That's a load of bull****! Have you ever owned a cat? In my experience they are the most loyal, loving pets. They like their independence and that's why I like them above dogs.

I'm sorry - I'm rolling around laughing. All this posturing is cracking me up. I just can't take you seriously.

I dont really care! I would happily kick a cat across the road if it came walking round my feet.

I know you don't really care - that's what makes it even funnier!
Good luck on kicking the cat - they're pretty nimble.

I've seen it happen. You can get some decent distance on the buggers.
