Actually on the contrary. We have our allotted 18 girls for varsity (the actual competitive part of them) and 25 girls on Junior varsity. Add in the 45 girls from the other high school in my town, plus the boys' teams and we're one of the biggest sports next to American football and lacrosse.

Omg you do things on such a big scale... Our girls tennis team consisted of 4 people. I'm not even joking! Tennis literally gets no funding at all here, the only reason I do it is because my school is private...

My school is tiny! 600 lol Even if we had 1500 people, our tennis team would still only be 9 people.... THIS IS WHY GREAT BRITAIN IS SO SH*T AT TENNIS!! Ha sorry I'm on one a bit...

Speaking of GB, I got into an argument (surprise, surprise) with my English teacher today about how he uses England and Great Britain interchangeably. I'm pretty sure at some point I called him stupid.

Good, you fight the honour! Great Britain is just the title English people use when they want to feel attatched in some way to Andy Murray. Sadly Scottish people did not use the same tactics when Tim Henman was around...

I was actually really angry. I don't know why, it wasn't like I have any attachment to GB, but still.

In other news, my physics teacher is out with the flu! I suppose he won't be back for a few days...so that lab is just never getting done, considering I can't set it up without him. I should probably feel bad about him being sick. I'm a bitch, though.

Ha. Our physics teacher thinks we are stupid evidently. We have to do
these things called ISAs (In school assesments) where you get a question and you have to design an experiment to answer it, draw a table, a graph of the results and then do a 45 minute paper, partly about the experiment, and part about the like technical "how science works" side of science, like drug testing or nanotechnology... But in biology and chemistry, we've done the real things and a practice, and in physics the teacher is explaining it all to us like we've never even heard about these tests before, so stupid and so annoying, he is one of the worst teachers going!

Just reading that gave me a headache. My physics teacher is pretty lax about school stuff, he just has to give as a set amount of lab experiments to do by the end of the year, which is why I basically have one every week.

I think I'm going to take a nap though. All this deliberating and arguing today wore me out. I probably won't be awake before you head off to bed yourself, so night! wave

Sad - been experiencing a personal Lord of the Rings renaissance this week - just watching some of the extras on ROTK - all the cast and crew saying goodbye to one another at the end of filming - v sad!!
