Ok I'm pissed off now! My brother and his girlfriend have split up for good now it seems, hes asking her to get out the house and its turning a bit messy and they are both being f**king childish when it comes to their two kids  I just want to take them off them til they sort things out coz they'll be the ones in the middle of all the sh*t. |

Annoyed - Decided I wanted a proper sound card instead of onboard sound so got a Sound Blaster card yesterday, today I'm reformating my computer without recovering any of my data. Yes, they are related incidents, thank you Creative.
I hate that. I've lost a shitload of stuff this past year because of having to format. |

How the hell did that happen? It wasn't being detected as a sound card, just a PCI device and then the drivers started screwing up so I had to reset the computer a couple of times. I think the registry f*cked due to me resetting the computer and now I'm left formatting it. |

Nope, reinstall was refused. I temporarily managed to get back into XP by copying over registry files via the repair console but then when the PC restarted it was back to the same and doing the registry process again didn't fix it that time.
So I actually had an opporunity to backup my data yesterday but I had no USB storage, today I bring back 500GB external HDD but no luck getting back into XP
I haven't lost anything too valuable (I have stuff on my work laptop) so my biggest loss is probably my porn folder and downloaded programs like Photoshop.

 You have my sympathy. I lost some porn gold this year because of how sh*t XP is. Using Vista now (still sh*t, but I've had no fatal crashes). |

Mark, I haven't the frig what you're on about  but I saw computer mentioned in there, so I feel for you  I like my new computer at work but the mouse is sh*te but I've not been there long enough to complain! Ok I'm pissed off now! Finding decent porn these days is pretty hard, at least 90% is crap.  |
