Am trying to settle into my new home. Really weird, and I am wondering how long it will be until it feels like home.

Awww.......I hope you'll be very happy there! Why is it weird? Is it very different from where you were before?

Just back from visiting the grandchildren in Australia and really feeling the jetlag, how Andy can play a couple of days after landing in these far off places is beyond me! Missing the grandchildren dreadfully, can still hear their Aussie accents in my head but I cannot bear to look at the videos just yet!
Good luck in your new home Elly, after a few months it will seem that you have always been there.

Hey iris, I wondered where you had gone. Glad you had such a great visit. Now you can root for Andy.

Just weird because it's new, I guess.
Thanks for asking!

Aww - did you have a fab time? Must be very, very difficult to have your nearest and dearest so far away.

Hey.......Welcome back Iris! My sisters only child [her son] lives in Australia with his wife and two children, so I know, through her what it's like! She consoles herself with knowing that Australia is 'in a much better place' than the UK!

Thanks Caz.........I totally agree with her. I have told my son I would disown him if he ever came back! The senior school my grandaughter will be going to in 3 years time has 12 outdoor tennis courts, 2 netball courts, rugby, soccer, Australian football, cricket and hockey fields. The school is half state/private run and does not cost the earth in fees. We can only dream of these facilities here as most school playing fields were sold for private development.

Wow......That sounds like Paradise in comparison to here, and who knows......you could end up being related to a world class sports champion in a few years......maybe even a tennis champ!

I still feel a bit gutted about Andy - I can't work up any interest in the tournament - except for
the wee guy - but there's football on tonight...
...it's only Chelsea - not too keen on them
but it'll do.

I know I'm paranoid. But am I paranoid enough?

Imagine what it'll be like when he retires.
